Compelity: A Revenue Capability Company

Capabilities

Start With The Capability The Work Requires.

When a conversation, opportunity, forecast, or customer relationship stalls, the solution might not be another tactic, tool, or content piece.

Instead, people may require improved judgment, managers might need clearer standards for observation and reinforcement, and leaders could benefit from better evidence to evaluate opportunities or revenue decisions.

Compelity helps individuals and organizations build the skills and operational practices essential for revenue-critical work.

A professional listens thoughtfully and reviews information during a customer conversation.

What Compelity Means By Capability

A capability is an ability or operating discipline you can develop and apply.

It becomes visible in what people recognize, how they interpret a situation or evidence, the decisions they make, and what they do next.

A capability differs from a model, course, certification, service, or tool. While these can assist in organizing or supporting development, the capability itself is the actual ability that people require to perform their work.

Do Any Of These Situations Look Familiar

  • Plenty Of Information. Unclear Meaning.

Your team gathers customer information—but can they explain what it means for the next decision?

  • A Good Conversation. But What Changed?

The conversation felt positive. What evidence shows that the buyer or customer is moving forward?

  • The Opportunity Moves. Does The Buyer?

An opportunity advances in your pipeline. What has changed on the buyer’s side?

  • Interest Sounds Like Commitment.

The buyer is engaged and agrees with the discussion. What have they committed to doing?

  • Same Situation. Different Conclusions.

Your managers examine the same opportunity. Why do their judgments differ?

  • Learning Ends. The Work Continues.

People complete the learning. Where do practice, observation, and reinforcement happen afterward?

  • Different Conversations. The Same Approach?

Are your people approaching post-sale customer conversations with the same judgment they use before the sale?

  • Market Signals. Operating Questions.

Your team discusses what is happening in the market. How does that discussion inform the questions you ask about the business?

The visible condition may include several capabilities. First, determine what is happening, who is involved, and what evidence is being used.

Revenue Capability Areas

Buyer-Centered Conversations

Develop the judgment to listen carefully, explore meaning, and choose a response based on what is happening in the conversation rather than relying on a script.

Opportunity Judgment And Deal Strategy

Examine the buyer’s decision conditions, the organization’s theory of the opportunity, and the evidence guiding the deal.

Commitment Evidence And Forecast Discipline

Distinguish buyer interest, activity, and verbal agreement from evidence that the buyer has made and acted on a meaningful commitment.

Manager And Team Capability

Develop a shared language and practices that managers and teams can use to observe, question, practice, and reinforce capability.

Customer Progress Conversations

Develop the judgment to explore what a customer is trying to accomplish, what may be getting in the way, and what conversation is needed next.

The Same Capability Can Appear Under Different Conditions

A small team examines information together beside a board of grouped notes.

For Yourself

You may be examining a capability you want to develop for your own work. Your questions may concern what you would learn, how you would practice, or what evidence an assessment or certification would provide.

For An Organization

You may be examining a shared capability need involving a team, manager, function, implementation condition, or operating discipline.

Compelity begins with the condition and the available evidence. It does not assume that every organizational need requires the same model, learning experience, or delivery method.

Models Structure Parts Of The Work

Compelity’s proprietary models give people a disciplined way to approach specific parts of the capability system. Each model has its own purpose and development or release status.

The Advanced Customer Conversation Model© (early 2027)

Available in early 2027, this post-sale conversation model is designed for post-sales professionals in customer support, service, and care who may have a recurring revenue responsibility as part of their role.

Selected Advanced Sales Conversation Model© conversation and judgment concepts informed its development and are being adapted for post-sale use.

The model is distinct from ASC and from Customer Progress Conversations, the broader post-sale capability and conversation domain.

A model gives structure to part of the work. A model’s presence in this portfolio does not mean that a corresponding course, assessment, certification, workshop, or purchase route is available. The Advanced Customer Conversation Model does not inherit ASC evidence, outcomes, assessment, or certification.

How Compelity May Support Capability Development

Compelity begins with established capabilities, competencies, models, frameworks, practices, and learning assets.

For an organization, discovery determines which established, applicable elements are relevant and how to combine, adapt, and sequence them for the people, operating environment, and defined capability need. The developing Advanced Customer Conversation Model must not be implied to be a ready-to-deliver program within that selection.

A client-configured engagement may include training, facilitation, structured practice, coaching, or advising. The combination depends on the need. Not every engagement includes every method.

For individuals, the available development path depends on the current release status of the applicable learning experience, assessment, or certification.

What Does The Evidence Actually Show?

Someone attended. Someone passed. Someone applied what they learned. Each tells you something different.

  • Did They Take Part?

Participation shows that a person took part.

  • Did They Complete The Learning?

Completion shows that defined learning requirements were completed.

  • What Was Evaluated?

Assessment evaluates defined knowledge or skill under stated conditions.

  • Did They Meet The Standard?

Certification means that a candidate met an approved standard under those assessment conditions.

  • Did They Use It At Work?

Application means that the person used the capability in a work situation.

  • What Changed As A Result?

Transfer, performance, revenue, and business impact require additional evidence.

A Certificate Answers One Question. Business Impact Requires Other Evidence.

Compelity maintains these distinctions when explaining capabilities, learning, assessments, certifications, and organizational engagements.

Capability Development And Revenue Intelligence Do Different Work

Capability development focuses on what people and teams need to recognize, interpret, decide, and act on.

Revenue intelligence helps leaders examine market signals, operational evidence, and the questions those signals raise about revenue judgment.

The two are connected but are not interchangeable. A market signal does not determine what will happen in a specific opportunity. Completing a learning experience does not establish that a capability is consistently applied at work.

The Compelity Forecast Signal Tracker helps leaders examine current market conditions and the questions those conditions may raise. It does not predict the outcome of a specific opportunity.
