Compelity: A Revenue Capability Company

Models

A Model Gives The Work A Structure. Judgment Still Matters.

A positive buyer conversation may leave the decision unclear. A busy opportunity may have little buyer-side evidence behind it. After a sale, customer activity may say little about the progress the customer expected.

Compelity’s models help people examine different parts of that work. Each has a defined role.

What Compelity Means By A Model

A capability is something a person or team needs to be able to do. Buyer-Centered Conversations, for example, calls for listening, interpretation, and response judgment in a pre-sale conversation.

A model gives structure to a defined part of that capability. It can help people name what they are examining and make their reasoning visible. The model does not make the judgment for them.

How The Models Fit Together

Architecting The Deal©

Architecting the Deal© is Compelity’s end-to-end opportunity-judgment model. Three components have defined roles within it:

Theory Of The Deal©

Theory of the Deal© is the planning component. It makes the team’s explanation of the opportunity available for examination and revision.

Core Commitments Model©

Core Commitments Model© is the deal-structure and buyer-evidence component. It asks what the buyer has committed to concerning change, the provider, the solution, timing, and the resources needed to proceed.

The Advanced Sales Conversation Model©

The Advanced Sales Conversation Model© is the conversation-and-judgment component. It concerns how a seller interprets buyer meaning and chooses a response in a pre-sale conversation.

Advanced Sales Conversation Model©

Pre-sale conversation model

A buyer can sound interested while important decision conditions remain unsettled. The Advanced Sales Conversation Model© structures the conversation and judgment work involved in understanding buyer meaning, examining what remains unclear, and choosing a response. It is also the conversation-and-judgment component within Architecting the Deal©.

An ASC course, assessment, and practitioner certification are available through the Compelity Academy.

Architecting The Deal©

End-to-end opportunity-judgment model

An opportunity needs more than activity and a confident account of what might happen. Architecting the Deal© connects Theory of the Deal©, buyer-commitment evidence, and conversation judgment so that assumptions and conclusions can be examined against what is known.

Courses, assessments, and certifications for Architecting the Deal© will be available through the Compelity Academy in early 2027.

Core Commitments Model©

Deal-structure and buyer-evidence component

Meetings, proposals, and positive responses may be useful, but they do not independently establish buyer commitment. Core Commitments Model© helps a team examine observable buyer-side evidence concerning change, its choice of provider and solution, timing, and the resources needed to act.

Courses, assessments, and certifications for Core Commitments Model© will be available through the Compelity Academy in early 2027.

The Advanced Customer Conversation Model©

Post-sale conversation model

Customer activity does not always show what the customer has accomplished or what remains difficult. Compelity is developing The Advanced Customer Conversation Model© for conversations that examine those conditions after the sale.

Courses, assessments, and certifications for The Advanced Customer Conversation Model© will be available through the Compelity Academy in early 2027.

Choose The Condition You Are Examining

The buyer conversation is positive, but its meaning is uncertain.

The team needs to test its understanding of the complete opportunity.

Forecast confidence rests mainly on seller activity or interpretation.

The customer is active, but its intended progress remains unclear.

Find The Relevant Path

If you are exploring your own development, start with the Individuals pathway. If you are examining a shared organizational need, begin with the condition your team is facing and the evidence it currently uses.
